Las Sendas Golf Club’s fourteenth hole is a straightforward par three that plays slightly uphill and at a distance of 201 yards (silver tees) to 112 yards (copper tees). It’s the 16 handicap for both men and women, making it a nice birdie opportunity—assuming that you find the green from off the tee.
Tee Shot: Favor the Green’s Backside
Hole fourteen’s tee boxes are cleverly nestled within the desert wash area, which impacts the golfer’s angle toward the green. Regardless of the tee box, all golfers must contend with two large bunkers to the right and left of the green’s frontside. There’s an additional bunker beyond the first left bunker.
Favoring the backside of the green could be the smartest play for avoiding sand. But, don’t go too long—the green falls off the back and slopes downward into the desert area.
Relatively Flat Green
Compared to other greens at Las Sendas Golf Club, hole fourteen’s green is relatively flat. That said, there is a slight back-to-front break to consider when planning your putt.
