Junior Sticks Program
Juniors are welcome at Las Sendas Golf Club! In addition to providing six sets of tee boxes that accommodate golfers of different ages and skill levels, we offer our Junior Sticks Program to introduce youth to the great game of golf. Running from October through April, aspiring golfers ages 6 through 17 enjoy instruction from PGA Professionals at one of Arizona’s premier golf clubs. Best of all, the Junior Sticks Program fits almost every family’s budget and schedule.
About the Program
For the current season, Las Sendas Golf Club’s Junior Sticks Program runs from October 30, 2024, through April 30, 2025. Sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 3:30 pm until 5 pm. The cost is only $25 per session per golfer. Sign up for one session to see if your kids like it—then sign up for as many as you want!! Parents typically send their kids to multiple sessions, which we’re always glad to see.
What to Expect
We break the junior golfers into groups based on age, experience, and skill. Our team of PGA Professionals provide instruction on the fundamentals of golf, including:
- Gripping the club
- Golf etiquette
- Chipping / short game
- Putting
- Full golf swing (driving range)
- On-course play
Golfers rotate between stations and have the opportunity to play holes on the course (as time allows).
